No could believe the devastation was caused to by the worms and how much they killed but now there was another effect being felt the bodies that were left in the hot African sun drew out the scavengers . Maggots had come out to feed and the worse vultures .They fed on the remaining skin and bones , it was like a horrific scene .By this time our helicopter was in the air and headed back to the main land .

Now the maggots grew in numbers .

I wanted to throw up but I kept my composer .

We were well out of sight by now but I  knew the vulutures and maggots were still feeding .Then we were gone .But then both the maggots and vultures continued to feed .They continued as the hot African sun hung overhead in the afternoon sky .But no saw the new threat that follow with all the maggots in one place and vultures they started a sinkhole .The sinkhole grew as it looked like a meteorite had landed ,

But the maggots crawl over each other,  in fact it seem like the vultures were not immune , then the maggots began to attacking them too gnawing a them.Feeding on the worse of scavengers the vultures too had had no defense at all .

' I have an uneasy feeling about this .'
