A brief description of my life.
I was born in Sandusky, Ohio. I am 28 years old, and a recovering heroin addict. I was serving a prison term of 2 1/2 years due to my poor choices. During my imprisonment I discovered a talent for writing poetry. I hope that everyone who reads my book will find something to cherish. The contents of my book deal with addiction, prison, death, family issues, and faith. All of these experiences are very real so please keep an open mind as you read. Some of my poems are very graphic.

In June, 2000, two college students — Amy Shute and Jason Burgeson — were approached by a group of men. Forced into the backseat and driven to a remote location, they were murdered in cold blood.
