Brian had a good heart. But, as with all kids of his age, mischief was always just outside the door.
Tommy had some fire crackers left over from the forth, and Luke wanted to do something special. Brian was a little reluctant, because his grand daddy had two razor straps. One was a single length of leather about three feet long, and the other was shorter with two strips. He had felt the sting of both on his tender bottom.
