Last week two couples left comments that they had been out on the back roads where Bigfoot has been reported. If you do this, please be careful. This time of year Oregon roads can literally slide off the mountains. If that slide is behind you, you’re in a world of trouble.
I’ve been campaigning on my blog, Bigfoot Ballyhoo, for ones to talk about their sightings. It’s working. I’ve had several great responses, and some beautiful photos have been submitted. And we just learned that there are researchers in the field in areas that have been talked about on Bigfoot Ballyhoo, Squaw Lake and Power’s Pond. Don’t we, Bigfoot Believers, just long for some great photos of Bigfoot? It could happen anytime now.
A day or two ago, I watched part of a TV show that was very informative. One of the most asked questions on the subject of Bigfoot by those unfamiliar with the subject is, Why haven’t bones or a body been produced? This program answered the question admirably. A freshly road-killed deer was staked out with rebar and filmed as it decayed. If asked how long it would take the deer to “melt” into the ground, bones, fur and all, most would guess at least a month. It just took one week. All that was left was a few unrecognizable bones and tufts of hair. So if it had been a Bigfoot’s carcass, you would not have recognized it as such.
Again I would like to remind those that have a fortuitous sighting not to report it to the police but to the Forest Service or a BLM employee. Make sure they will not hand over a report to the police. Why you ask? You could get your license suspended until you can have a doctor say you’re okay. Do, however, file a police report if you believe the animal is dangerous.
Why did I use the word fortuitous in the above paragraph? Well, it can mean either good or bad. So, make your Bigfoot sighting a good event by talking about it. Many people have seen this animal and are happy to carry on a dialogue with you on sites such as Bigfoot Ballyhoo. The web address is www.bigfootballyhoo.blogspot.com.
