The boy stood alongside his mother as she'd was telling him about the Moon as they saw it one summer night walking on the beach .All they'd had were each other as the boy's father was alway working all the time .

' Is the Moon made of cheese ? ' he asked ,she answer no and he smiled as a tiny mouse came out from a hole in the ground ,and he'd shook his head .The boy knelt down and the boy listened as the mouse started too talked at the same time his mother kept on talking .

' That's not true I was there,'

The mouse then reached for a piece of cheese and he show him a piece of cheese to the boy it was white not yellow.The boy was fascinated by the white cheese. He'd kept looking at the cheese as the mouse knew he would ,

' From the Moon ? ' asked the boy . The mouse nodded .His mother kept on talking but not realizing the boy wasn't listening no more .The mother by now at this time was pointing out the features of the Moon .

Then the  boy looked at his mother smiling pretending too be listening .

The boy listen as the mouse told his tale ,the mouse who in fact was of course was named Requim he had wanted Apollo but for an astronaut that be to obvious or a human name like John or Richard .

Requim began telling how he went to the Moon .

 Part ll :Blastoff.

Requim told of how he'd came out of his hole one day the far side of it that is which too was located just next too Cape Kennedy and he'd too then saw the tall silvery object as it stood on the launching pad .

Requim heard of spaceships and rockets before .

But then he had never saw one until then and he'd too was fascinated by it .Requim he had nothing else too do, he took a closer look at the object he started toward the tail end of it .

Requim look up .Where would he hide when he'd got up inside he could always gnaw a hole in the hull .Requim then had  started to climb into the rocketship as the engines started . He smelled the gas as the fuel was loaded into the rocketship .

Suddenly the engines started ,

Part lll : Requim's voice :

Now I had made a bit of a hole in the hull of the spaceship and to made myself comfortable as it was launching,where I did not know . I'd felt the engines of the mighty spaceship begin too lift me higher and higher ,I'd was going who knew where,the Moon ? Outer space for sure .

Requim felt the power of the spaceship as it lift up and up .He'd never felt anythng like that before and he'd too knew of it once though the first taste he  had of cheese and it to had  felt good .He wanted more .Then as the  spaceship started moving  through the heavens Requim felt uneasy as it began entering the lesser of  atmospheres of the Earth ,then it reached outer space itself .

Requim thought how the other mice would envy him right now .
