Sometimes you have to play the waiting game to win your prince. If they come back it was meant to be. If they don't come back you have to let them go. ~Peace~
~Waiting Game~
It had been one month since Sara saw her prince. He was always busy, and started avoiding her calls. He was still a gentleman and would check in once in a while. Sara was devastated. The last night they spent together was amazing, so why didn’t he want to see her anymore? He said she was his girl, and showed his love to her by loving every inch of her body. The last time they were together was the most passionate of all. They secretly met at a friend’s house and spent the night together. They sat very close to each other all night long, kissing every few minutes. Sara knew the night was going to be electrifying. Her prince knew how to please a woman. Passion poured out, and made him unbelievably desirable. His voice sounded like a young Frank Sinatra and would melt any woman. He was a real prince, and the sexiest man alive.
After having a few beers, Sara and her prince stepped into the bedroom. They ripped each others clothes off and started kissing. Sara’s heart started beating so hard she was worried she was having a heart attach. The fireworks went off inside of her body and she was in complete ecstasy. She loved the way her prince smelled when he worked up a sweat. His eyes penetrated through to her soul, causing Sara to feel like silly putty. She never wanted the night to end. She stayed awake after her prince fell asleep that night. The next morning when her prince awoke he snuggled very tight to her chest. They instantly attached each other again, spending hours in bed. They didn’t want the love making to end but needed to rehydrate. They decided to come out for some water and visit the friend that had been listening to their passion all night long.
That morning it wasn’t about the sex at all. They had connected on a higher love level. Sara had never experienced complete passion for another until that morning. She never saw her prince again after he said goodbye that cold winter day. Maybe that connection scared him away, or maybe he scored the home run and decided to move on.Sara will wait for this prince and hope one day to meet again. Can they just be friends? They know they will see each other again one day. Maybe the fireworks will still be there, and maybe they won’t. The days and nights were miserable thinking about him. Sara started to wish she never reconnected with her prince. Love can feel so good one minute, then hurt like a knife. The waiting is the hardest part. Sara knows she has to go on, but can’t get her prince out of her head. He has taken over her mind with memories of the perfect love experience. She might never know why he fled so fast. Was it love, or just a score card? Sometimes you have to play the waiting game. If they come back it was meant to be. If they don't you have to let them go... ~Peace~
Ah, the fickle finger of fate AND the waning light of love's passion. Sara and her Prince. Too bad she must think of her lover as her Prince. For centuries young girls' heads are filled with the theory that someday their Prince will swoop down on a fast-charging white horse and take her away with him where she will live happily evermore. Well, reality can be downright bothersome and the Prince dreams are swept asunder, because we guys, as wonderful as we are, (Heehee) can never live up to the Prince mystique.
I liked this...it is reality. Although no one can really explain what makes love become love and not just love making. Passion, sensuality and desire can be a wonderful experience but often be mistaken for love. Great short story, may want to do spell check but really interesting to read and great length to keep reader interested.
