Howdy, as they say down here in Texas!  It's me, Crutcher Dillon Daniel O'Neill, age eight, of New Boston, Texas! 

Sorry for not writing; been busy with school, playing with my friends (and drivin' my little sisters crazy!  LOLOLOL), and gettin' ready to go with mama and daddy to a dog show in Houston.  They are going to show off our dogs in hopes that they will win a prize (hopefully they'll win an Olympic medal or something!).  We have six Pomeranians; mama and daddy show them and raise them for a living.  This is how they make their money.

If the dogs do good, they get more money; if not, then they don't get paid.  It's that simple. 

Our Pomeranians are  named "Scooter", "Scooby Doo" (I named that one! :) ), "Shirley", "Rusty", "Wiggles", and "Pokey".  They are all very good, smart little dogs; they are always eager to learn new tricks.

My sisters Ezrah (six) and Kaylie (three) were sick with the flu last week, but they are about over it now.  I never did get it, which was something of a big surprise.  Kids all over my school have been out with this flu; yet I never got as much as a sniffle or cough!  Call it luck or a miracle!  :)

I am looking forward to going to Houston with mama and daddy.  My MaMaw is going to watch my sisters; that will be so nice not to have them hangin' off me like leeches!

I will get to see someplace new, and I will get to see all sorts of neat looking dogs.  I've never been to a dog show, but I watch 'em all the time on television, especially the big one, the Westminster Dog Show in England.  A Scottish Terrier won that one; he won "Best of Show" over 2,000 dog entries! 

Well, I am going to go get ready to go eat supper; we're then going to go to bed because tomorrow we're driving to my uncle Eddie's house about five miles from here; he lives really close.  His wife (my aunt Elma) has been sick and in the hospital; she has peemonia of the lungs.  She's really been bad off.  Hopefully she's doing better; this is why we are going to see her.   We want to see her before she kicks the bucket (I pray that doesn't happen!).  We'll be gone all day.
