My name is Harley Beau Vaughan.  I live in Beaumont, Texas, with my dad, Tracker, my mom, Honda, and my two sisters, Stormie Rain and Aurora Elaine.  I am the youngest; I am 11 years old.  (My sisters are thirteen and fifteen; I really don't get along that well with them; they are really bossy and think they know everything!)

As you can probably guess, my dad and mom are into motorcycling.  That's why they both have really weird names.  Well, I am carrying on the biker tradition; just my sisters have more normal-sounding names.  Don't know why they didn't get any biker names, but they didn't. 

My dad owns a motorcycle shop; my mom helps him.  On weekends, they spend the time with us kids unless an emergency at the store comes up; if that happens, then MeMaw Opal watches us. 

Meanwhile, Aurora, Stormie, and I go to school on the weekdays and annoy the snot outta each other on the weekends.  We're always fighting; we can't seem to get along; half the time it's either Aurora or Stormie who start the fights; I mind  my own business.  I think their favorite pasttime is annoying their little brother (me)!  It's so bad at times I wish I could run away from home and go live with MeMaw or my neighbors, the Thibodeauxes!

I like to ride my bike on the weekends (that is, when I can get away from Aurora or Stormie or away from doing my chores!); I also like to read horror books, watch tv (Family Guy, the Simpsons, American Dad, and South Park), listen to bands like Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, and Evanescence (I also like Incubus and Ozzy Osbourne), hang out with my friends Tobias, Chan, and Mookie from school, play video games, and draw or write stories and poems. 

I also like to hang out at the Thibodeaux family's place; they live next door to me, and they are very nice.  Their son, Max, is one of my best friends, in addition to Mookie, Chan, and Tobias.

I just wish I could get along better with Aurora or Stormie; they make my life a living nightmare at times!  I don't need to watch horror movies; I live my own monster movie here at home, and Aurora and Stormie are the monsters!!

In many ways, I am a typical kid.  I just have a strange name that makes me stand out.

I am in the sixth grade at Primrose Elementary School; in August, which is five months from now, I will start middle school.  I liked being in the sixth grade; we kids were the upper classmen, and we felt like we ruled our school.  Now I'll be the baby on the bottom once I enter junior high, and I'm really not loking forward to that.  I can just see it now:  getting teased and humiliated!  No, that is not good!

I am sorry if this sounds all dumb; I don't write journals.  To me, journals are a girly thing; I am a boy; boys don't write journals!  I had to do this at the insistance of my teacher; she says I hold a lot of anger in, and it might help me sort out my feelings.  Maybe so, but I still feel stupid doing it!!

Well, I am going to go; time for lunch.  Today it's mystery meat, taco salad, and tater tots, as well as choice of water, juice, or milk to drink.  For dessert, it's apple fritters.  Hopefully lunch will be better this time around; we've had a rash of bad ones lately!  It's no wonder I'd been brown-baggin' it!  My mom makes the best lunches!  Take care and see ya later; this is Harley Beau Vaughan saying so long!
