Happy Easter!!

It's me, your friend in Texas, Kata Danae' Fitzhugh!  I hope this finds everyone doing good; I am very happy 'cos the Easter Bunny came!  He left me and my family lotsa candy, toys, and other goodies!  So I now have new things to play with and eat! :)  I am a very happy little girl!

After we got visited by the Easter Bunny, we went to church.  At church, they talked about Jesus coming back to life from the cross.  I went to children's church while my mommy and daddy went to the big people's church.  We had our church at the gym; the big people went to the sanctuary.  After that, some kids in my class who didn't know the Lord gave their hearts to him.  I gave my heart to him last year, when I was just about five.

I now have Jesus in my heart.  I go to church every week, and I also read my (children's) Bible and pray to God every night.  Having Jesus makes me a better person, and it makes me think of how I should behave, 'coz if I don't, I would be sinning, and I would have to ask Jesus to forgive me.

When we got done with church, mommy and daddy took us kids out to eat; we went to the Cracker Barrel.  I had ham, smashed potatoes, peas, salad, carrot sticks, and for dessert, strawberry shortcake with whipped cream.  It was very good!  There were a lot of people who went out to eat, so we had to wait a while before we got our seats and got to eat.  By the time we got to our table, I was starving!!

Since we came home from Cracker Barrel, we kids have been playing with our Easter gifts.  I love my new toys and my new books; I got one about a kitty cat that I love!  I've read it at the library; now I have my own copy of the book, so I don't have to check it out at the library any more!  :)  I also got an American Girl doll; I got a pioneer girl named Kirsten.  She's pretty!  I know I am going to enjoy playing with her!!

Well, I gotta go.  We are going to visit MeeMaw and PePaw and have Easter there; I might get more stuff from the Easter Bunny!  Yay!!  I love holidays and special days, 'cos I get gifts!  :)  Take care and God bless; this is Kata saying bye!
