Would it be possible to prove, by Law, a huge ape lives in the forests of the world, at least in the United States? or one state? For generations now, when one is graced with a sighting of one of these animals, what follows is often hateful scoffing, hateful ridiculing and even some, people/ institutions (laws), question the person’s sanity. We have sightings beyond number, footprints, the same. We have Native Peoples’ lore and on and on. One would think a good attorney could use this information to form a solid case to once-and-for-all declare this animal exists, or open to the public the closed files which contain classified information. And of course, we have the 1962 Columbus Day Storm victim that the government has covered up. How so? The laws are such that an ordinary citizen with no ties to the government can not request to view the file of the ’62 animal. Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been told there is such a file, with possible bones.

     A call has gone out on Bigfoot Ballyhoo (www.bigfootballyhoo.blogspot.com) to lawyers who may relish an exciting challenge that in the end could get put on the books, a law recognizingthat this animal exists. All people need to know this animal is in our forests. We need to know to watch for it, to admire it and possibly protect ourselves from it. It is our right to know. (Don’t you think?) The lawyer’s fees must be free, for we have been told it can be expensive to sue the government to open a file etc. If you are a lawyer, please consider taking on this worthy challenge.

     I’ve had scoffing leveled at me, not vicious, but unsettling just the same. While working with the local paper, The North County News, several years back, I wrote an article on bigfoot. The psychologist that wrote for the paper took to calling me, not to my face mind you, The Bigfoot Lady. Even now when I explain I write this blog, I often get a sneering little laugh and head shaking, denoting disbelief. If I feel it is worth my time, I’ll explain. And often the one listening will walk away at least believing bigfoot is a possibility.
