     Two patrol officers work a four-to-twelve shift on Christmas night 1974.

Originally titled: It's a Wonderful life? A Christmas Story. This early Sam Jenkins adventure was published as A Christmas Story in Mezzo Magazine in January, 2010 (www.mezzomagazine.com)  A direct link is available at www.waynezurlbooks.net.

New York Police Officers Sam Jenkins and Louie Rodriguez volunteer to work Christmas night for individual reasons.

An innocent-sounding call of a drunk and disorderly subject starts off a busy night ending with the grisly murder of a pathetic, but likable man.
