There was this man that I've heard about, whose first marriage didn't last for very long. Okay! It maybe fair to say it's likened to many other marriages, that had failed to loss. If so, it wouldn't be anything new. Only in this case it was different. Just wait until you hear the full story.

This man's name was Paddy. He got married and not many weeks after the wedding, he lost his wife to a mystery illness. Her name was June. It was not a fortunate name for her, June. As it happens, it was in the month of June she had lost her mother and three years later her father, he too had passed away. And guess what, he also died in the same month, what was your guess? June!

Then afterward, she died from the mystery illness, in the month of June as well. Sad isn't? Actually, it seems to me that the entire family was in tune with the month of June, especially when it comes to dying. Nonetheless, that's what had happened, or so they said! Paddy was a farmer, one who specializes in growing vegetables, corns and wheat. In addition, he cultivates other things for personal purposes too.

Beans and all sorts of grains, you could find on Paddy's farm. Being originally from Ireland, he grows few patches of potatoes as well. Losing his wife, June, so soon, it had crippled his farming ambition. Good job, for his own sake that he was from a family who fears God.

Owing to his god-fearing background, he found strength in God. In that case, he strengthened himself, as he called to remembrance God's words. No wonder the words say this, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Actually, that proverb seemed to have worked nicely for Paddy.

As I've just mentioned that he was coming from a god-fearing background, besides, during his school days, Scriptures was one of the main curriculums for school children. Sadly enough, nowadays all that has gone from a great many schools. It's not good, but anyway that maybe beside the point....

Owing to Paddy's wisdom of God's word from an early age, it got stuck with him. And for goodnes sakes when his problems had arrived, he was able to look to the Lord for his help. He was ever praying and talking to the Lord constantly, while he could find time possible. God remembered him and showed him favour. So much so, Paddy went to a Bible school, he graduated in theology. And then, he was able to quit farming and took up preaching.

His preaching life was very successful, He had brought many souls to Christ. Whereas, it seems for that reason, many blessings followed him. He got married a second time to a lovely woman of God, they were blessed with children and they shared their lives: lived, preached and praised God together in happiness ever after. It pays to know about the Lord from an early age.

Let's work together righteously, bringing up our children, teaching them about Ghrist. It's for goodness sake.
