A guy with a disability gets involved in a life of crime, thanks to the urging of some so-called "friends".

Guess it was bound to happen sooner or later.  You do the crime, you pay the time.

Such as in my case.  I'm now sitting in a jail cell; supposed to be here another 25 days (or so), awaiting trial.  Could end up being longer:  depends on the system.  Have to think about what I done and try to redeem myself when I get out.

That is, if I get out.

The more I think about what I done, the more I want to kick myself.  I should have never listened to those Joes.  They were the ones who talked me into stealing from WalMart.  How did I know those stupid security cameras were on all the time??  (Stole some tools from the sporting goods department.   About $300 worth.)

If you ask me, I think the punks took advantage of me.  See, I was born with seven fingers.  Have five fingers on my left hand, like anybody else; on the other hand, however, I have three: my thumb, my pointer finger, and a ring finger.  Missing my pinkie finger and the finger next to it.  I call my deformed hand my "monkey-hand", 'cause to me that's what it looks like.  I guess the dummies thought I could get away with it; I had been known to steal stuff before.

Well, bully for them.  Look where it got me.  In the slammer.

Have more marks against me on my "permanent record"; gonna be harder than ever for me to find a good job because "nobody wants to hire a criminal".

People will look at me, and they'll say:  "There goes a marked man",  and shake their heads with sympathy.

I wish I had never hooked up with the guys I hung around with.  They were (are) bad news.  Guess it shows that I have oatmeal for brains. Guess that means that just because I am disabled, then it means my brain must be too: I don't always use my head.  It's really maddening!

Well, I gotta see what I will get for breakfast.  Yesterday was cold oatmeal, orange juice (that wasn't too bad, meaning the juice), some pieces of French toast, and a glass of water.  Also had runny scrambled eggs.  YUCK!!  If there's one thing I hate most in the world, it's runny scrambled eggs!!  Hopefully today's breakfast will be a lot better than yesterday.

Will write in here again, with updates about my situation from time to time.  Just say some prayers for me; I'd like to get out of here and try to start my life over.  I should have never gotten involved in this life of crime.

~To be continued.~
