To whom it may concern:

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the excellent care you have provided for me while I've been in the hospital (and even here at home).  I don't know where I would be or what I would do without all of you.  For all I know, I'd probably be buried in a grave somewhere, or in a lot worse shape than I already am.  

I know at times I have proved to be a very difficult patient.  Please accept my deepest apologies.  I know you have worked tirelessly, caring not only for my own personal needs, but others as well, and you are more than likely exhausted and wishing you were someplace else.  I don't blame you.  Yet you do what is required, and you all have done a marvelous job!

I am doing better today.  I am alive, breathing, and not pushing up daisies.  LOL  I'm also in not as much pain as is the norm for me, and my heart/lungs aren't acting up.  Thank God for small blessings!  :)  I pray this continues.  I feel pretty good, all things considering.  While I may never run a marathon or do gymnastics (not that I ever COULD, mind you .... LOL), I still have some semblance of my health, and I pray I continue TO do better.

My husband and my daughter have been wonderful caretakers, and I know they appreciate the added bonus of having you all come out of your way to make me happy, or at least, comfortable.  They appreciate it nearly as much as I do.  You are truly angels here on earth!  May God bless each and every one nof you as you care for the sick/needy!

I hope you get extra jewels in your crown on that day when we face our Maker.  You deserve that and so much more!  All I can say is thank you; I am most humbled by your compassion, your love, and your dedication.  Oh, if only more nurses were like you all ....
