The day Deane Telford sold his second novel was the day he almost died.  Five years ago, his first novel, In a Dream I Love hit the shelves and stayed there for many years. Only a handful were bought; the rest were sent back to the publishers. Chances for Deane to have a second novel published were very slim indeed.
