G'day from the Mile High City!  How's it goin'?

Sage McDermott here.  Hope this finds y'all doing great!  I couldn't be better!  Life is indeed good; I only have God to thank for that! :) He's really been doing some awesome work in my life!

Last time I wrote, I was telling you about how I was getting ready to go to Australia to visit my penpal, Camie Singleton.  Well, I went, and I had the most fabulous time!  Australia was cooler than I ever imagined it would be!!  I absolutely LOVED it! Saw and ate things I never experienced before, and by the time my two week vacation was up, I was talking just like the Australians! LOLOLOL

Well, this summer, Camie is coming HERE to America!!  Yawks!!  She is coming HERE to see li'l ol' me!!  She has already called me, like, twenty times to talk about plans we plan on doing once she gets here! LOL (She is coming in mid July after the Independence Day holiday activities settle down somewhat.)

I am out of school; have only one year to go!  Yep.  Next yaer, I will be a big-time senior!!  Then I will be able to graduate next June!!  Seems hard to believe that I've made it this far, when, only a few years back, I was in high danger of failing!  I look back to the dark period in my life, when I was dabbling in witchcraft and thinking of joining a coven, and I look at my life now, and I am amazed at how far I have come!

I look back to some of my earlier journal entries, and let's face it: I was one angry young kid!  Now my life has meaning, purpose, and I am not looking back! God has His designs on me, and I am NOT abandoning Him, not even for one nanosecond!!

I still have "Smedley".  Ah, good old "Smedley".  My stinky, adorable pug who loves to roll around in the trash and eat out of the garbage cans.  LOL  It's a surprise he even has a stomach left or doesn't get sick!  I always worry about him ....

Aunt Reba and Uncle Fenton have officially adopted me, which means that I am not only their niece, but I am their daughter, legally and permanently.  I now have parents again, but I can't bring myelf to call them mom and pop.  LOL  I just wish I had a brother or sister; at times I wish there was another kid around to talk to or pal around with!

Thank God for my friends that I have from school as well as my friends from church!  If it were not for them, I don't know WHAT I would do!!

Well, I gotta go.  Time to help Aunt Reba with the laundry, then after that, I am going to mow the lawn, and who knows what else is up the pike for the day.  I will write in here again soon; sorry it's been so long!  I promise I will do better next time!  Take care and may God bless you always!
