Hey!  It's your friend, Burgundy Rose!  Hope this finds y'all doing well; as for me, I am doing GREAT!! :)

I am going to be a senior next month when school starts back up again.  I can't believe it; it seems like only yesterday when I was just entering high school! Time sure has flown by quickly!

My sister, Charlene, who is 18 1/2, is thinking of joining up with the Air Force.  She is thinking of going to college as well, but if that doesn't pan out, then she will make the Air Force her career.  She would like to become an officer or something.

My little brothers, Corey and Dominic, who are 10 and six, continue to be as bratty as ever.  Both couldn't stay out of trouble, even if mom or dad paid them one million bucks.  Seems that the boys were just BORN to attract trouble: they make Dennis-The-Menace look comatose!  LOL  They're HORRID!!

We have our cats as well:  "Silkie" (Birman, female), "Cleopatra" (Egyptian Mau; she's silver and black), and  "Charlie" (male Maine Coon; he's a classic brown tabby).  "Cleo" does not like my brothers, especially since Dominic intentionally kicked her in the face.  I saw him.  And then he had the NERVE to lie about it when I saw him do it!  I was NOT happy!  

We are still attending New Life Baptist, but it doesn't seem to be doing my brothers any good: they are as bad as ever.  I am not happy with them.  Their latest scheme was rubbing shaving cream all over dad's car (and each other); took all afternoon to clean up the mess (and two extremely messy boys).  This happened on Wednesday; my brothers are grounded until further notice.

I hope you are having a good summer.  We are.  We've already gone to Niagara Falls, New York (and Canada) (Memorial Day weekend),  The Philadelphia Zoo (June),  and to Cape Cod, Massachusetts (last month). We may not go anywhere else this year, thanks, in part, to the ever-increasing gas prices (and that raises the price of everything else), and my stupid brother kicking "Cleopatra" in the face.  

At least I have my friends Ebonie (Grace), Quintella (Morelli), and Kudzu (Oyambe) to pal around with if we don't go anywhere else before school starts back up the day after Labor Day.  

Well, Charlie (the Maine Coon, remember)  is meowing incessently, so I'd best see what he wants.  I will write in here again soon; sorry it's been so long!  Take care and God bless!
