“So, she said downing the drink, what is next here? What is your ah.. mission on this here planet and are you telling me that you are an alien of some sort?”
Einstein looked at her askance and with what she thought was a hint of hurt, finally saying:
"Not exactly. The reason I was sent here is because your planet and my planet are almost identical, we are good match.”
“Good match for what?” she said.
“Well it makes it lot easier if the neural structures in the brains of our two planets are similar. There are trillions of neural connections in the brain and finding a close-enough match is not easy, has not been easy.
We finally located you and I was sent to expedite.
“Expedite,expedite what?” she said
“Well,” Einstein said and then pausing continued “how much do you know about your Einstein?” he said.
“Some,” she said “a scientist, a physicist, and very very smart I remember.
I heard he was the smartest man in the world.”
“Correct, he said smiling, flirting, “I like your smile.”
“That must be the Randy in you, but the way my name is Helen, Randy.”
“Pleased.” he said tipping an imaginary hat on his head.
“Well to go on, your Einstein died and we discovered it and we sort of borrowed his brain.”
“Borrowed?” she said.
“Borrowed. He was working the last 30 years of his life on some very important problems we discovered that are vital to our being able to stop this Dark Flow from sucking the life out of our galaxy.
“You said.” Helen said dryly feeling the bourbon.
She was not really much of a drinker and pretended to drink more than she actually did.
“Problems?” She inquired.
“Problems.” he said. “Einstein was working on some equations which described what happens at the event horizon of a black hole, equations which he never got right, but our scientists think that with his brain, we can reconstruct those equations and solve them and prevent disaster; reverse black hole phenomena so to speak in our galaxy.
But, but he said, we are not the only ones after the brain.”
Helen’s head began to swim a part of her brain was saying:, “I think I drank too much and this is going way too fast.”
