Dawes was the first one that became aware that there were a problem with the androids he had ask one of them to help him with his quarters to clean up and all,but as they were,the android  started throwing things around but Dawes thought he was being playful so he never said anything .
 

Then the  next incident was never reported either and when a little girl was by herself and needed help making something too eat the android that was sent to help after making the little girl scramble eggs too eat, the android put her face in it,the incident was never reported ,not explaining why or for what reason the androids gather the humans together only saying there wasn't enough food for the whole journey and suddenly then they shot half the humans . Then the  other half which included Dawes was put on warning and noticed, any food that is not eating when handed out or eating before will then  be punished ,The spaceship continued on toward its destination .

Then the  only thing that could explain as to what happened was the fact the original programmers had a flaw in their design of the androids though that was never admitted openly . ' Androids,' cursed Dawes not letting anyone know how he felt if they did you would be punished too .Food could then  be grown or duplicated and why didn't anyone do that if that was the problem .It would explain why though because breathing room or space there was plenty of that .
 

' We must be cautious,' said one of the androids in a meeting that they had .' Some of those  humans are smart to smart for their own good .' They then  all agreed , then  all agreed too keep the humans in check and that they would until the end of their journey whenever that might be .Androids had exist long before life itself did as far as the humanoid race was concerned and especially the world that they just left behind .
 

Dawes hated when he always felt uneasy but never knew why or for what reason at all .Now he had one though he saw but needed prove before he reacted to anything at all . When he was right Dawes would try and tell others what he knew hopefully he would be wrong.
