We had then gone further then anyone before but what we saw just before our eyes made no sense at all, me and my sister kept looking at each other in disbelief we shook our heads and still .We were lied too,all of us were .Damn grown ups never telling the truth.We then saw and looked back at our ruined city we lived in where the acid would fall everyday,but before us there was another city,a forest nearby that in fact looked like it was never touched by too by what had happened to the rest of the world,unbelieveable I thought but again my sister saw it too so must had been real .
' Incredible,' said my sister then as we decided to continue,perhaps it was not real,perhaps everything we saw or touched was fake,an illusion but then the bushes we touched were real,the sidewalk we were stepping on was real,even the buildings and a couple houses we saw were as real as me and my sister were .We were in disbelief too say the least at what we were seeing now . It had to be real ,right ?
' Grown ups,' I then had cursed too myself as we walked,' Can't trust any of them, ' I then too kept my comment to myself I didn't want my sister to worry any more then she was or myself for that matter .But still why was this kept from us,maybe the acid was use when someone was just stepping beyond the city limit that we had lived in the acid would stop them .I wondered how many others had tried too leave the city before the acid stop them .
' Look,' said my sister then as she had then pointed too something else we hadn't seen before only in newspapers and books that survive the acid , it was a cat a cat chasing a mouse,now what else were we not told about .We then saw before us the what else we were not told about by the others .We looked at each other I swore for a six year old I thought I never see my sister madder then she was now ,and who could blame her as we then to saw what was there and it was more then just a cat or even a mouse, a lot more to say the least .
' Grown ups,' I said again .
