Then the day that never happened was hot,and Steve knew he had to work hard and fast, the candles only lasted so long the sun now was a bittersweet enemy during the day.It was now the twenty first century and nothing had changed since the 18th century. Technology never happen people used horses and bikes to get around .
Steve then looked toward the school where his son was and knew he would be home soon, then he would even have more concerns to think about , Time was the biggest problem only six hours in a day and Steve had to do his job right and by himself. He then started to adjust his hat he wore and suddenly stopp, there were screaming coming from the school , then their day was done and it was Saturday tomorrow and Steve promised that day to his son .
He then started working again but then stopped as his wife was calling him to the house ,she must had prepared something to eat on the fire they had for cooking . ' Simple things made simple life easier,' said Steve in fact as he suddenly hurried a bit faster his stomach growled,he must had been hungry too . He hurried faster even still .
' Hello Maria ,' he said greeting his wife as she told him to sit as they both then saw their son enter the house as he was carrying his books from school . He put them down and went to wash his hands in the tub they use ,it wasn't much but at least they kept clean .
' I did good today father,' his son then told him as he handed him a note that was apparently from his teacher, he smiled as read the note ,then Steve turned and told his wife to him an extra piece of meat for his reward and he then said that tomorrow will be their day spending together .His son smiled .Each then weekened was theirs to spend together .
' I can't wait,' said Steve's son .
