Dawes then never forgot that day his wife was killed and when he saw his best friend he had growing up with appear inside the house with the gun, he did looked surprise to see him . But suddenly thinking of the safety of his wife, Dawes instinctively reacted and leap out of his dinner chair then grabbing his wrist he  the other man struggle .

' Why ? We were best friends once ? ' asked  Dawes as they struggle to control the gun ,but he only smiled at him .

' Were is then the  correct word Dawes you lied to me,you said you had the key to the map and were going to hunt treasure together,' he shouted at me .' Then you got married ,is she worth more then that treasure we buried all those years ago .'

' Treasure,' Dawes wife then said,' what treasure .' Dawes just looked at her not saying nothing at all . He continue to struggle with the other man as they both fought for the gun, suddenly at this point would be the part that Dawes would never forget . This was where the other man by his trying to get hold of the gun pulled the trigger .

But neither man then paid attention as to where the gun was aimed at,as he pulled then the trigger a bullet came flying out of the gun and towards his wife ,suddenly then too  both men stopped as they heard a scream, Dawes full of anger suddenly got hold of the gun knock the other man unconscious with it then ran towards his wife .

She was then  hit by the bullet .Dawes felt his heart drop out of his chest  as held his wife in his arms as she laid there dying and nothing that he could do about it at all . Damn that idiot . ..............

That day would be one Dawes would never forget .
