I to  just saw my mother die and feeling rather down
I kept to myself for most of a year but then something
unusual happened, something small to say the least .

I was  sitting writing my journal how I was feeling that
day then suddenly I look up and in a corner of a window
I saw a cocoon something was happening to it .

There I saw the beautiful sight,a butterfly emerged from
that cocoon and I open the window to let go fly free and
begin it's own journey into whatever existence was too
waiting for the butterfly.

Seeing that moment of change in something just as simple
as a butterfly made me feel better about myself from within
me although I was grieving about my mother I realize that I
had to continue, not only for her sake but mine too as well .

That simple change in the butterfly made a change in me
I was not about to let myself down or my family especially
those that believed in me I will not forget my mother but I
cannot just give up on life either .

I watch the butterfly as it continued and so did I .
