The Berbers, The Arabs invaded North Africa and converted its population to Islam. The former president of Tunisia, whose origins are Berber, had said, during his visit to Jordan, when he was accused of not being a good Muslim, “you are right; I am a converted Muslim, by the power of the sword.”

For many centuries, a  part of the Berber population was Jewish. The lands were conquered by Muslim Arabs. They spread in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania, Mali and Niger and some who led the armies to conquer certain parts of Europe did not return and are still there in Spain, Southern  France etc. .The Muslim Arab conquerors came first to Egypt, then to Libya, to Tunisia and to Morocco. According to Fereydoun  Hoveyda, former Iranian representative at the UN and brother of  Prime Minister Amir Abbas Hoveyda  who wrote the book Que veulent les Arabes  (What the Arabs want?) Abdel Nasser, in his “philosophy of the revolution” believed that the Middle East had a role to play and was just waiting for its protagonist.  Since then, the Arab mass was waiting for an actor who could play the role of Saladin (Slah Edin).

Until now the Arabs were waiting for this leader, but instead, they received the Muslim Brotherhood, in Iran the Ayatollah, and in Tunisia the fanatic religious Ennahda and they saw the return of the Jews from  all over the world to their original country from which the Romans had chased them away. Some of them are the descendants of the Queen of the Berbers - Kahina.  I believe that now, the children of the Berber Queen will return to liberate the entire Amazigh population in North Africa.

In fact, contrary to what the Arab propaganda is saying daily about the Israelis, The Arabs are biggest conquerors in the world.

The Arab conquests took place between the 7thand the 8th centuries .The Arabs from Arabia conquered   the Middle East, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Iran and part of Europe, from Spain to Southern France, and they successfully promoted the religion of Islam.
In reference to my country of birth, Tunisia, I said it many times, that the

Tunisians who think they are of Arab origin may be wrong, as in fact 95 % of the Tunisian population are Berbers and not Arabs, as per  Fereydoun  Hoveyda, but they were converted to Islam by the power of the sword and many of them are a mixture of all the conquerors who once conquered Tunisia. The former Tunisian Chief of Staff was asked about the nature of the Tunisian population when he visited the United States Military School and he stated:  “Take a bag and put in one of every conqueror and mix them together, you will get the real Tunisian citizen.”
