My neighbors are a family I'd like to get to know better. The family's last name, believe it or not, is Miracle. There are five of them: the two parents, plus three adorable, mischevous children, who were 8, 5, and 1 1/2.
I know the father pastors a church somewhere in town (perfect job for a man named Miracle, I thought); the mother, meanwhile, stays home and raises her kids the best she can. The kids (the two oldest ones) are homeschooled by Mama, and they help her out with caring for the baby.
Other than that, I do not know their names. I would have to ask what their names were; right now, I knew nothing more than what I already did about this family, but didn't want to come across as being too nosy or imposing.
Right after they get home from church, I will pay 'em a little social call and introduce myself. Can't hurt to try. Doesn't hurt to have new friends. They seem like nice people.
I have seen this family in the past, reaching out to others in need. They truly do live a godly, Christian life. They give Christians a good name, and I think I could learn to like this family. We could use more families like the Miracle family in our world today!
