The Moon blasted it's way out of the Earth's orbit as the nuclear waste on it's surface exploded and had send the Moon ripping apart and being torn out of the orbit of the planet, two hundred and twenty lives held on as they watched what was happening in fact but could not stop it .' Hang on ! ' yelled science officer Luke Bergman as he saw the other command crew of Moonbase Alpha holding onto or try too hold onto anything they could. And Luke though he was one of the oldest on the Moon had been with Moonbase Alpha since the start,over fifteen years. ' Once we're out of the pull of Earth's orbit we should stabilize,' said Bergman to anyone listening he felt his fifty three year old bones creaked but he ignored it the safety of the Alphans was just to important.But once out of orbit of the Earth and to out of the solar system in which its path was also projected too go. At the end of the construction of Alpha the company that had hired everyone wanted to fire Luke because of his age but Commander John Koenig his friend wanted him to stay on because he knew Alpha better then even  anyone,except for Koenig of course to .Still everyone was careful with Luke. ' We our now stabilize,' said Bergman as they saw on the wall size command center tv screen the stars ahead of them and infinite space that lay ahead of them . ' Our future is out there,' said John Koenig to his command crew,' That is are destiny ,the future .' And John Koenig knew he was right out there indeed was their futures right or wrong they will survive they had too it was their heritage their legacy too continue and as part of humanity as well.John felt sad also he not only left a world behind a life too he had had but he also left a son, Alba Koenig back there,his only son too.Alba had just turned eighteen and even found a place of his own too,he was happy more happy then John Koenig was in fact when he was eighteen he had just started being on his own entering college and he fell in love to she was two years older then he was,blonde,and he'd had thought very beautiful too,her name was Helena Russell,she was chief surgeon at a local hospital here and one day Koenig riding a motorcycle crashed and was taking to that hospital where she'd worked at as she tended to his injuries he suddenly felt not the same,his heart to race faster,his mind kept in fact thinking of Helena Russell,the way she looked the way she moved .Everything about her seemed too want John Koenig closer too her.And in the few days that follow after his injuries healed he got brave enough to return to the hospital and even bought her flowers and he asked her out. At first she too wanted to say no,but Helena had not been on many dates since being new in the area,so she smiled and told John yes she would. That was the only other to time he had been happy in his life,except in fact when they gave him command of Moonbase Alpha .John had walked the entire base as commanders often do when they put in charge .He even to  knew every inch of Alpha . John was proud of his new command almost as proud as he then was of his son. But then now he had to focus all his min,thoughts and in fact all his energy now too on saving the over two hundred lives under his command. But it was the base itself too which in fact was his concerned too,the costs and also in fact the technology to went into building Moonbase Alpha . But it was both that technology and costs that were to save and help the Alphans stay alive .
