A Letter from an American that believe the government is working, just for the wrong people.
To Whom It May Concern,
The Government is working, and those who think that is not must be asleep. Here, let me sum it for you if you believe the government is not working. There are over 10 million of people receiving food stamps, disability checks and Medicaid, at the expense of taxpayers. There are over five million people receiving unemployment benefits, at the expense of taxpayers, so I do not understand peoples' complaints. What they should say, is the government needs improving in service, parity and restructuring. I keep hearing Republicans say that social security needs fixing, and that it will run our money by 2026. The budget of the United States needs balance, however, not at the expense of poor people. Taxes should be raised, for the government cannot process money and delivered to the needy, if the office is not funded. The question is, why are Republicans obstructing tax increases? This is the kind of idiocy that is destroying American politics, and people’s faith in government. If there were a Republican President in office, the Republicans would not mind raising taxes, unfortunately, with a democrat in office everything worth helping the country has to wait to 2016. Do politicians understand that there actually poor people sleeping on the streets and babies without homes because of their obstructionism? The Republicans would rather tear this country down, and blame it on the black man, who is loved, but has his head up Michelle Obama’s dress.
Furthermore, the government is working, and five million inmates in jails and prison can verify it for you. Prison inmates that could not receive a decent high school education when they were free, can now graduate from college at our expense. The government or the President cannot be blamed for the inefficiency that is sabotaging the life of American middle and lower class citizens. We should be blame, for choosing these political bigots to represent us. However, we will correct our mistakes, by voting on real people that care about communities, education and families.
