Hello, my name is Ernest Vigil and I urge you to pay close attention to what I am about to say because time is getting short and we really don’t know how much time we have left. I was on a ski slope in Colorado where I collapsed, passed out and was pronounced dead three times. My friends who called to ask how I was doing were told that my family was making funeral arrangements. So to the world I was dead but God had other plans for me. Perhaps He brought me back so I could share this testimony with you.
Did you ever wonder what Heaven and Hell is really like? Well, if you have, listen up because I can now say, I been there and I have experienced both. Believe me, you do not want to even think about toying with the idea that you may be headed on the wrong path. You know life is all about choices and we have to make small and large decisions every day. If you are a teenager you are very vulnerable to demonic forces because the teen years are a very confusing stage of life and the devil (which I will refer to as Lucifer) is always ready to steal your soul away.
The reason I call the devil Lucifer is because that is the name he goes by. How do I know? I know because I met him. However, not face to face because he would not look directly into my eyes. Perhaps it’s because if he did he would see Jesus as He lives deep inside my soul.
I met Lucifer in a place that looked like much like his command and control center. Lucifer seemed very confident of himself. He was handsome, well built, and the type of person whom you would never suspect is associated with evil and darkness. In fact, if I did not know any better, I would probably consider hanging out with him. You see Lucifer is a master of deception and is waiting like a roaring lion ready to steal souls at anytime and anyplace. As I said, he never looked at me directly as he seemed focused on watching several three dimensional window monitors that were displaying his latest victims. For example, on one monitor I could see a teenager contemplating robbing a grocery store, on another was a man ready to commit adultery, on another was someone considering murder, and so on and so forth. Then, in far corner of that room I also got a glimpse of what hell is like. It was lifeless and full of burned out ashes and collapsed buildings completely in ruin. I could hear people in the distance moaning for food and water because there was none. Everything was charred and completely consumed. Could you imagine being famished forever? Forever is a long, long time my friend. I decided that I had seen enough so I started to exit quickly. Lucifer had a band of the beautiful women surrounding him and two went in my direction to stop me as I attempted to leave. One jumped on me and I fell to the floor. I tugged to get free from her grasp, while another started to unbutton my pants but I forced her away and she went down on the ground. Mind you, these were among the most beautiful women I have ever seen so if I was not strong, God knows what my fate would have been. As for me, I wanted no part of what Lucifer offered and I got out of there as fast as I could!
Another time, I experienced visions of the future and watched as China unfolded an enormous army unlike something I have never seen before. I also had true to life visions of Russia with a strong modern armed force that was poised and ready to attack the little county of Israel. Other Arab countries were ready to strike as well because their power seemed to overwhelm this tiny Jewish state. I also had visions of Europe and the United States who seemed unconcerned with what was happening. The USA did not seem to want to get involved or take a stand, very much like today.
In another vision I watched our Lord Jesus praying on his knees by a shore of the Mediterranean Sea. He was in quiet prayer so I did not want to disturb him. Although the thought did cross my mind because I felt I should warn Him of the events that I just envisioned.
In another instant I was with Jesus far off into outer space where I could see the earth and the moon from a great distance. Jesus had the earth and the moon cupped in the palm of His hands as if to say to me, “Fear not, for I am the Lord and I am in control” This calmed me down as I was assured in my heart that Jesus was watching over his flock and protecting them from harm.
Within this time period I was in a coma and I was informed that I died three times. Amazingly, I also had three experiences where I was about to walk across a river and somehow I knew if I crossed the river I would be entering the gates of Heaven, never to return to earth again. The third time I started to cross the river I got my feet wet but I stopped, hesitated and asked the Lord if I should continue. In an instant I felt His voice enter my soul saying, “It’s not your time.” Shortly after that, I came out of the coma and started on the long journey towards recovery.
Do you know Jesus? If not, then I ask that you repeat a simple but important prayer because if you think you are going to hell, your life here on earth will be the closest thing to heaven. However, if you think are going to heaven, your life on earth will the closest thing to hell you will ever experience.
We can’t earn salvation; we are saved by God’s grace when we have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. We are all sinners but we must believe that Christ died for our sins, and we must ask His forgiveness. He knows you and loves you. What matters to Him is the attitude of your heart, your honesty. With that said, I suggest praying the following prayer to welcome Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior:
“Lord Jesus Christ, I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask your forgiveness and now turn from everything which I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.”
