The conflict with the mists and orbs was century old indeed,their biggest problem was communication as they did not talk like you or me,they spoke with their minds and rather sometimes hostile thoughts  is what they had in fact because both were instinctively warring people at heart ,

The orbs then were the stronger of the two and they would be willing to do about just anything too win, even at the cost of one of their own lives too. It was the fiest battle between the two and just too put it so everyone could understand, his name was Stuin and to use a term loosely Stuin was the right hand man to the leader or ruler of the orbs,Arch ,and both were intense when it came to fighting and hand to hand combat fighting,though Arch was more intense then Stuin because he had to be,he was the leader after all. 

Arch then always had too be intense to keep his leadership in tact and to be firm with the rest of the orbs who would listen to him as well. Arch was in fact the eldest of the orbs as well. As fae as age went an orb could almost live more then three hundred years as did the mists and their allies.

Arch had then too  seen wars,fought battles and lost friends in them, but he continued too then too live and fight and conquer because that was who they were,nothing pr no one was going toothen had seen  change that either .And they too were feared for the most part,in  some cases though there were races that resisted them .
