I went to your beautiful website and read the story. It is one of those heartwarming stories that occurs to people every Christmas. I can't help thinking that Emily's dead husband Jason and Capt. Butler have something in common… Am I right?
I did find that there were many little typos and other defects that are easily corrected. You should have someone you trust read and edit the story for you so that the reader will not get hung up on little things and focus on story. Do they serve grits in Chicago? They probably do, but not in Wisconsin where I'm from.
