Spider rock was then too was what they called it ,it was located just on the shore on the tiny island just miles away from the Florida coastline it was only recently then discovered when boaters would go by it and see big black spiders coming off the island then  and looking like they were swimming.

In fact the spiders were weaving a web together that if you believe anyone that told you wrapped completely around the tiny island itself, the spiders were in fact just finishing the web itself it now surrounded the entire island and though other animals and a few tribe existed on the island they were all outnumbered by the spiders who rapidly multiplied and from one end of the island to the other were now the dominant species on the island .
 

Florida game and wildlife banned anyone from going over to the island all except certain scientists who would study the spiders .Then they in fact would catalog the spiders and find out where they came from, And determine if the spiders could reach the coastline if so should they be immediately destroyed because once on the mainland who knew in fact what damage could be done to Florida or even the rest of the world .

And it was Abel's job to name the spiders.

Abel was one such scientist and she loved spiders no matter how ugly they wee to everyone else she thought they were beautiful insects one of God's better creations as she put it too. And she even had a spider at home it too lived in the corner of her bedroom and yet here she was on her way to the island with four other people soon they would be there.

And she couldn't wait .
