     original

I heard then the  sound again, it was the sound of the wind blowing through th leaves at night,it was a cold wind, a chill wind, a wind that told of changes in that were coming,my heart raced as I continued through the Deep End, at least that is the name it was giving by those that were brave enough to be here . I was not brave just a fool that lost on a bet .I rather be home with my dog and family right now .

But a bet was a bet and I at least paid up,

Now the chill pass me again, it was the chill of death as if something just died nearby and no one cared oo bury the body,I wished the moon were out at least I have some light too walked under .I thought not to get lost here there were no path to walk on no paved road then you can guide by,nothing but trees and strange sounds . I even heard an owl that hooted .

I then stopped I then looked then at my watch,it was ten o'clock now .Two more hours and I could leave, my bet included that I stay in the woods until midnight, two more hours and I would be free . Or so I thought . But I forgot the legend of these woods ,the legend would be real as soon as I found out.

           Suddenly my heart raced faster.

There then  it was there the  legend hanging between two trees, it was a well made spiders web, huge in size, and there were cocoons caught in it as well. I counted five, but there was an empty one. Suddenly I looked up there was a giant spider,it was ready to drop on me, I couldn't move as bad as I wanted too though .

The legend was true I was suppose to be in that six cocoon , if only I had kept my sword I had purchased.

             My heart stopped,the spider dropped.

end.
