As promised I have 10 new books on the PDF list. These books tend to have a lot of links so a PDF with live links like newspapers have is great, if you are a busy person.
Those that want books with live links I can send along in an email version. A new way of doing publishing.

First, take your blogs or other content and make them into books, using Createspace or other "print on demand" vendors; this is no or little cost.
Second, since you may have years of blogs, or short-stories-even a novel- copy them into Microsoft Word and then use something like Createspace for a cover, or an interior layout (theirs) and then it put up on Amazon for sale in a matter of a few days.
If you have links to other sites, like videos, or audio even better because while you cannot have live links in a book, there are ways to get live links (like newspapers do) in a PDF and that is the secret: converting your paperback book into a PDF with LIVE links like newspapers have.
That way your can get royalties from Amazon for the book using them to advertize and market your book, while with the PDF's, you can sell your book directly to others and your twitter fans for like two dollars. No costs for shipping (you use email) and you keep 100 percent of the royalties from these PDF's) and note, again, these PDF's can be formatted to have LIVE links, just like newspapers have.
This is revolutionary and perfect for Indie authors. You're welcome.

You're right. In the climate of today, it is wrong to look for a "publisher" to do everything for you. If you are resourceful, you can publish your own work very easily for little or nothing. My website costs be very little and I've had it for 17 years. I have a lot of content on there that is free. I would encourage everyone not to use commercial blogs but were little HTML and have your own website for less than $10 a month like I do. Free yourself from relying on other websites like Twitter, Facebook, and the like. And by all means, free yourself as much as possible from the monopolistic Amazon, trying to take over the world.
