sorry Peter Benchley I had this story in the back of my mind for a awhile ,hope you don't mind think Jaws is the greatest novel ever written . thankyou.

Fishing line after fishing line was cast over the boat, they all waited with patience to see who get the first bite, young Quincy was on his first fishing boat trip with his father and the first time he saw a shark. He could not believe it,unlike most at first seeing one they are usually afraid .And yet he thought they were playfull little creatures .And then it happened a shark swam up and caught a line, his father line actually.the shark was strong to it pulled his father over but the other fishermen caught him just in time to.

' Thankyou,' he said as he settled back down and tried again to reeled him in,other fishermen wanted to help but Quincy's father was stubborn and yet he fought the shark tooth and nail, not giving up.

' Dad,' yelled Quincy as he ran too his father as he saw him go over again this time no one culd help him,the shark attack him fast and furious and in fact never let up, as young Quincy watched with horror as his father was eating alive in fact by the shark. That was the day he change forever,he hated sharks from then on,especially the great white .

His boat then  was his and he charted it out to anyone that would pay him the money as well. Quincy never forgot that day his fatherdied and the shark that attack him too.Quincy would live near the water and where sharks often visited the most .Over time then too he drew himself a reputation and one in fact that wa well deserved .

Quincy was his name .

end .
