It was night across the land known as
Green Acres and all was quiet except
for two people, well one person and one
pig name Arnold
The human was name Oliver Douglas
originally from New York but he wanted
to move to a quiet place and found Green
Acres,he did not come alone his wife had
come with him, reluctantly she loved the
city life he loved the farm living and both
ended up on Green Acres .
There neighbors still lived in the past kinda
but they depended upon each other very
much though .
One particular citizen of Green Acres was
a pig name Arnold,he was fat even for a
pig but very smart ,the people of Green
Acres always treated him like a person too
especially the older people Mr Douglas
from time to time would remind people
he was a pig after all.
One night as Arnold was coming to visit
Oliver a storm suddenly passed over and
as Mr Douglas was brushing teeth lightning
hit the house and as Aenold was about too
try to open the front door he and Mr Douglas
received a lightning bolt knocking them on
unconscious .
Now when morning arrived Mr Douglas opened
his eyes and turn over to kissed his wife then
suddenly he opened his mouth and said,'Oink.'
His wife smiled, being somewhat naive she
thought he was teasing her or joking with her.
' Good morning to you to Oliver ,' she said.
Now Arnold never having been human or in
fact any thoughts like a human this was in
fact rather new to him too.
Waking up the first feeling he had like all
pigs do was wanting to eat ,so he walked
outside to where pigs usually ate, looking
around he felt different not the same and
he didnt eat, ' I'm not going to eat this this
is slop, my wife makes better food then
this slop.' Arnold suddenly felt ill, that was
the first time he spoke ever .
But to the people of Green Acres they never
look at Arnold differently then themselves so
when he tried to convince them they wouldn't
listen ,so his only hope was Mr Douglas but
by this time Mr Douglas was on all fours in
fact he was walking around like a pig and
behaving like one ,his wife had no idea how to
help her husband .
' Maybe I can be of some help,' said Arnold as
both Oliver and his wife saw him walk in .
' You sound like me,' said Oliver,' Oink .'
' And you me,' said Arnold looking at both of
then differently for the first time ,' I might have
an explaination for both of you .
