Jack picked up the knife for the first time
the sharp smooth edge,it felt good to him
but he thought there had to be more then
eating with a knife you can do with it too.

After letting his mother know he was go
to go outside, you see Jack had lived in
fact with his mother after his father was
killed in a street fight .

Interesting tool, thought Jack, someone
invented a tool for cutting and slicing and
eating too.

Being the only child living with his mother
hardly any friends except one or two Jack
sometimes felt like he didn't belong here
but something was not right .

Outside he watch people come and go
but not many, because they lived in the
poor part of London, London thought
Jack still holding a knife .Suddenly as
he got up to play a little girl was walking
alone and saw Jack. he reached in his
pants and pulled out a coin ,he offered
it to the little girl and pointed to an alley
nearby .' I'll show you mine if you show
me yours .' Jack told her,she laughed at
first but knew what Jack meant, her name
wasTrinity. She would become the first.

At this point her and Jack were only ten
but their bodies were still growing and in
fact learning what the difference between
each other were too. And Jack's mind in
fact wanted to know everything .They both
duck into the alley without anyone seeing
them, suddenly the famous London mist
started to appear,it scared Trinity but Jack
seemed too like it .

As Trinity sat onto a couplt of boxes that
were set up against a wall of a building ,
she took the coin Jack offered her and
she smiled at him, lifting up her dress .

Jack slowly step closer to her he smiled
she was pretty enough even though she
was just ten . Jack was still holding the
knife in his hand .

' Nice ,' said Jack he pretended to slip
and using the knife he sliced the leg of
Trinity, blood running down her leg and
Jack watched it not doing anything too
stop it ,Trinity scream and Jack put a
hand over her mouth and he held her
down,he stabbed the knife into Trinity
just below the chest and she died,he
fell backwards acting like he didn't
know what happened .

Getting to his feet Jack dropped the
knife burying it in the ground and he
turned, for the first time in his life he
was alone,he knew he couldn't go
back to his mother, still he smiled.

That was Jack's first kill, and one of
many to come, later the world would
know Jack as Jack the Ripper this
was that beginning . end .....................

In the End: Apocalyptic Poetry by Debra Kraft

In the end they'll all be dancin'--all them ones that didn't die.... Dance with me in the shadows amidst the lightning and the thunder, and all that nu-cu-lar debris. See the big bang from the other side, and then open that cellar door. Go down into
