Once having put in the leg, no way out easily.

It wasn’t too early, but also not late enough either. I had remained in bed not doing anything for some minutes, not wanting to get up and not wanting to stay on forever when the door’s bell rung. I let only some seconds pass and it was one of the few times I didn’t look through the window to see who it was. I came down the steps with the keys in my hand and opened the front door. My friend Maka was standing at the door accompanied by a guy of whom I didn’t know anything save his name. Maka didn’t wait to greet me first not for me to do it either. Paper, she said, I need rolling paper to make a marijuana joint and I haven’t got paper. I grunted before greetings and asked her: Why don’t you buy just one rolling paper for five cents? The thing is that... , she began to say, I didn’t know what to do and I was too close, she laughed cheerfully as if taking for granted I would forgive her. Does it bother you much?, she insisted in flattering me with her smile. If it is just a small favour of no value, she continued saying. Of course, I said, I was in bed so quiet and had to get up to give you a paper you can buy for five cents at all the shops. She kept looking at me with a you-have-to-forgive-me face, you have already gotten up and you cannot have no paper, that you always have. Hi, Guille, I greeted the guy. What ideas does our friend Maka have; so much I was having a good time on my bed. I can't believe it, it isn’t the first time she comes out of the blue to ask me for no matter what. Come on, Leíto, Maka said, I don’t know why you are so upset for something so unimportant. Of course, of course, I said, I well suppose it doesn’t matter, the thing is to have a joint and Leíto is at home waiting for me with a paper. Guille put a face of incredulity or knowing not what was happening and when I expected something quite different he said: It hasn’t to be taken that way... Just a paper, he said, after all is too little. Of course, I said, well, so you don’t understand how it is. I preferred not to give more explanations and said: Well, I’ll come down now and I’ll give you papers. Sure you complain yet, you are capable, I said to Maka. I went up to my bedroom, took some papers and came down with them. Maka wanted me to have the joint with them and not to be so upset, but I said to her I rarely had a joint by then except in special occasions and not to worry about me, what it would be of me if I did not get half angry with her now and then. They disappeared at once and I laughed thinking she knew I would not take this into account.

I knew Maka since some ten years ago and we had been close friends always. We had talked much and we had had a lot of joints together. We were confident in each other and we used to speak about everything: work, boys and girl friends, times we remembered, jokes and anecdotes, and always, always last times she came to see me or I had an appointment with her when I had already given up smoking joints, she disappeared with lighters, pens, rolling papers and whatever passed through her hands. She never had everything she needed or scarcely ever. She asked me for a lighter and did not give it back to me, or a pen, or paper, well, papers are never given back unless it is a packet full of them and even so. I used to gift her with all the hash pieces and bits of marijuana I got, the truth is I kept them for her, for her especially. Some days later I asked her for lighter or pen and she always replied she didn’t know what I was referring to, that she didn’t remember to have asked me for anything, that I was inventing things. By chance and not such, for it happened to me several times to rummage her bag half cheating her, found out lighters and pens inside it. I used to ask her then Didn’t you say you hadn’t got it? That I was inventing things? How would I forget being it you? She used to burst out laughing and sometimes she apologized and other times she said I gave too much importance to things which didn’t have much. When I asked Maka about Guille she said they knew each other by common friends, that it wasn’t too long since. I didn’t go deep about him but I saw her with him again.

After the episode I have just related I asked her again about Guille. This time she was more explicit. She told me he was a pacifist militant and was living with a friend of hers, to whom she had been introduced to at the same time Guille had, that she was german and Katy her name. Maka met them up now and then and they had their joints and talked about whatever and spent a good time together. She told me Katy made a living by working as a teacher. Guille didn't do anything and lived kind of a tale. He had confessed to her that he didn't have to work because Katy’s parents were wealthy and it would be a loss of time to be working for little money, that jobs were not well paid, and his dedication to pacifism would keep him active also. That’s good, I said to Maka, to just wait doing nothing, sure of not needing it. Maka used to tell me some times she had met them up or met him up, especially him, of her she less frequently knew anything, though when meeting up Katy was always very open and always invited her to go to Germany. I asked her why she didn't introduce Katy to me, that it had been for so long telling me about her and she hadn't introduced her to me yet. She said it was logical because she was always very busy. A little after it turned out Katy and Maka went to Germany together to spend nearly a month. Although it seems it made no sense, Katy had explained to her she suspected of Guille’s intentions and she knew what once at least he had said regarding her parents wealthiness and she had asked Maka if she had heard something, since they were so confident, and if he had told her which were his real pretentions, for it was not agreeable someone’s boasting he is not going to do anything not needing it either. Maka replied to her while going on a train through german soil, she had not had to be accomplice of nobody, and yes, she openly said to her Guille didn't give much importance to the fact, as if Katy didn't have other than consent.

When I was introduced to Katy she and Guille lived very near to my house. Maka had taken me and we spoke about business competing general understanding of human beings, that is to say revolution, no to violence movement and I do not know what more. She was committed to help in children activities and also in cinema’s sessions and chatters about benefits of no to violence exercise. I had my disencounters with her first and with Guille later. One day I went to their place alone and I was speaking with them, and after that I went again and she was alone. We talked about Maka and Guille, and as I was not very satisfied with her opinions about the revolutionary movement and everything involved in this business, I asked her why her reluctancy to consider other options not so much saint-like. She answered saying she always got impressed by proven exemplary facts of people who had let themselves submit to a bullying of which they became victorious thanks to the conmiseration the enemy had with them on seeing how they let themselves be cornered knowing even they were going to die, that they had given a lesson of pacifism. She spoke about Indian people and Gandhi and the excesses of the English army who could not dominate the volition of the Indians offering themselves as victims who gave their lives by hundreds, by thousands, seeing how the English extinguished them in a bleeding only bearable with so much generosity treasured by the invaded ones. I said to her what I felt: that if I saw an English army approaching, although five million only I would send to them an atomic bomb they could not tell anybody. She mentioned the regrets of English and Indian people while the first were killing the others. I nearly died of laughter seeing how they all wept.

Some days later I was playing cards at night with some friends in a bar not far distant from my place and Maka rang me up at two. I didn't expect anybody at 2 a.m., no one rings me up ever at two at nights. My friends were surprised even more than me. When I saw on the cell screen it was Maka, I responded quickly, not knowing which fly could have bitten her up at that time. I told her where I was after she made it clear there was nothing in particular, that nothing strange had happened and only wanted to see me to have something to drink, though finally I insisted I did not know which fly had bitten her up and she confessed to be sincere she did want to tell me something. She came in a few minutes and I sat down with her close to my friends, when I was winning and while they discussed about the interest that might move me to leave the game not finished even though Maka was the intruder. We laughed when it was mentioned that I would earn more playing cards than talking to Maka. Katy had been looking for the opportunity of talking to Maka privately. The case was that Katy wanted to know if Guille had made bloody or suspicious comments. I told her that she should have made inquiries before. I didn't pay much attention this time to my friend Maka. I had already had some joints and I was happy and I wanted to listen but to be listened to too, so I asked cheerfully: If there is not wedding ceremony there will not be invitations either? Can we not have something now on the amount’s dowry? Can you not or must you not quantify now how much there will be for us? Seeing myself caught up and with no possibility of escaping unless denouncing publicly so much free-will, it occurred to me no other but putting the fiancée in a tight spot. You should, I said to Maka, take the advantage of the first opportunity to ask Guille when face to face with Katy what he had thought he would do but work or if he had planned to do nothing, live as in a tale and not inviting as if the three things were possible.

Some days later I found Guille in the street and by chance I had got a bit of hash and knowing he was joints-smoker we sat down to talk and smoke, I felt like it at that moment, and I asked him how were things with him. He answered things were well, as always. The subject about the political situation sprang out. I was radical as usually. That is, I took a short cut at the problem, which was big indeed, by its roots, saying that guilty of a sad political and social situation were always chiefs of state and goverments. He became then, how could it not be so, a proselite of an insulting pacifism, saying that chiefs of state and governments should sit down to dialogue with everybody and trying to justify the existence of a king’s figure as representative of a nation although he was only a part of the decoration, and he did not doubt that goverments acted with good intention always, that at least nobody could deny them this. He realized he had finished saying something incoherent and stupid and tried to arrange it enhancing the effort all the people involved is supposed to do, and saying that my position was pure zeal of leaving in the wrong place the ones who represented us. And there was pacifism, the essence of wisdom, just the opposite to what it must be if we analyse the situation in the first ten years of the XXI Century. When I reached a high state of hash stoned I said to him bluntly, rather to change the subject to make up for his nonsense and not to be tangled up in a discussion I was interested in no longer, furious but taking it calmly, that it was not I should know much about it, but I knew that as a general rule mothers-in-law lie always when they are alone, when they are with their daughters, when they are with their sons-in-law, when they are with both, when they are with their female friends, and always-always when they are with all their female friends. You cannot trust any. They don't know what they say. They lie more than they talk. He kept looking somewhere far away not piercing me, I would not have allowed it either if I would have noticed, and he said: I knew it could be so, but I didn't think about it. Anyway, I shall take this into account. It is always good to hear something you had not heard before. I said to him I knew a lot of cases. More than this, I said to him I didn't know any case on the contrary, even when they, mothers-in-law, pretended to be authentic revolutionaries, that it was not normal in them either to proceed otherwise, only lying and cheating in her own benefit, and in spite of this they sometimes become losers, even get ruined economically and spiritually. But they do not care, I assured him, they only need someone to whom telling what happens to them, and in these cases they also lie and cheat visibly, not caring but to be half believable. And with this they think it is enough, so what they would wish more for. And husbands? you will ask me, I said to Guille. In the event of existing or meaning something to them, these are a sheer zero on the left side indeed, completely useless and hopeless. They do not even care if these have thought of taking some money with them in case they have to pay something somewhere, they take it for granted. If someone appropiates of a blow, they are most of times husbands, or sons-in-law sometimes, never or hardly ever women or mothers-in-law, unless they cross the line giving the opportunity to the agressor male or female to prove any time after the deeds, without inventing anything, they had reasons to react the way they did and argue to police or judge they would have done the same if in the same situation. There are very good jokes about the subject, I went on saying. Do you know any? I asked him. Jokes do you say? he asked me. Of course, I said, I know many, but anecdotes are much better still, they have more meat and besides are not so easily forgotten as jokes. I would rather tell you well a good anecdote than make you laugh with jokes, because sometimes you want to make somebody laugh with a joke and yet knowing how to tell them they do not come out well, with more probabilities if you are stoned, as it is my case. Let us see, he said. Ok, I said, already deeply hung up from hash and trying to amaze him, so hurt I felt by such aberrant vassalage. I was living, I began the anecdote this way, at a friend’s who was in a wealthy position and had as very close neighbours to one of the king’s sisters and her husband. Well then, too frequently they paid a visit to us and I did absolutely not make myself being begged by them and yet I always run away when they appeared. What they wanted from me was to marry any of the daughters of the very king. Well then, when things became favourably I did even not hint a negative, it was my friend Manuel who settled up the formulas, and said to the stupid king’s brother-in-law in my face no less than the same he had heard from me: That mothers-in-law lie always when they are alone, when they are with their daughters, when they are with their sons-in-law, when they are with both, when they are with their female friends, and always-always when they are with all their female friends. This, of course, he said to him in my face and my head went round and round with so much I wanted to laugh at this, after all knowing the things Manuel was saying he had heard them from me and seeing the sheer stupid king’s brother-in-law’s face, who did not have even lights but to make clear that that argument increased the dowry a lot, he did even say too much. What happened finally?, he asked. What was going to happen?, I responded. I forgot how much was destined for the dowry and for a long time. So much it is like this that I am sure I may still denounce the attempt of the same mother-in-law mentioning amounts again and nobody would be appalled. Why do you not?, he asked trying to be clever. Because I want them to fall into the trap again, I said. How?, he asked. I do not understand, he said. Of course, I went on, because perhaps they are so absent-minded they do not even realize, but it is not worth, although it was only to laugh at it a little or the very police bring the dowry home to me. The fact is I do not run a risk this way, that I have always known that. It might be a bait to capture me and as I know already it might be so, I will not pay any attention because I am not disposed to lose my time. If I should know they will come... Who?, he interrupted me. The police, man, who could they be if they are not them?, I replied. I feel sick, Guille said. I would not have to have endured this pursuit that seems you have studied with the intention to leave me reckless. Come on, man!, I said, I only tell the facts such as they were. Definitely, how lucky you are with Katy, I said changing the subject and believing enough the sickness I had turned him into, so good she is a pacifist I am sure you will never have war against nobody under no concept. Of course, I said, you could have interrupted me so that I shouldn't tell you things that seems to you nonsense. When someone is stoned he doesn't know sometimes why he is saying things, although they have an explantion always.

Some days after I met up Maka, how not it could be so, she wanted to invite me to smoke a small joint, because it was just a little bit what she had got left. Well, the case is we had her joint and something happened that make me pay full attention to her with eyes wide open and relish with what Maka didn't want me to divulge. Maka did not like at all Guille’s recalcitrant pacifism, which reached the extreme of summoning people to establish dialogues between people committed to no violence and victims, with proposals such as claiming to violents not to use arms and diminishing the hatred of victims, all together. Maka was laughing, more when I commented to her one should be wealthy or not a violent anarchist, or both, but he did not fit in any of theses classes, by things he did and things he said I could see he was a convinced militant of such a charlatanism and stupid being so nice, and for some reason Katy was even more disposed than Guille to pacifism activities, Guille had brainwashed her. When I told her about the five million Maka laughed at how absurd it had been Katy tried to touch me with her argument about the spirituality of such a sublime moment like when the annihilation of Indians by the hands of the British Army took place and both parties wept for the lesson Indians were giving the British letting themselves be killed and the British repented and wept thousands of tears for what they had just done to the poor Indians, and all this by Katy’s whim. With the intention of discharging some weight over Katy’s guilt of so much stupidity being so nice she obligated me to admit that it was very likely I knew already Katy’s attitude was influenced by Guille’s position to this respect. The truth is I am tired already, Maka said to me, of this activism leading to nothing. Well, the case is Katy was already suspicious for the comments she had heard over Guille’s posture when it was mentioned not being she there the fortune he could come into on being her husband, or her couple in a way or her fact pair, like they call nowadays those who always had been couples couples. The thing had started like this: Someone mentioned as a joke he would marry a rich german girl grand heir and there was laughter and new beers and so many hulla-baloos that the fiancée could not but consent. Katy wanted to know if the joy that had caused to him his friends’ jest had been just simply to follow them in the joke or had consisted in affirm himself as addressee of rents with which he would lead a high life and so laughing at her as well, in a business plan. This is what Katy had told Maka, and she had let herself be cheated by Katy in an ambush she prepared for Guille.

Knowing he not he would be happily celebrating a new encounter among friends where, clearly enough, someone would allude to Guille’s good luck in his boyfriend’s condition. Maka told me this a few days before the encounter among friends took place and I did not understand why Maka had let herself be cheated. She winked an eye at me and said she guessed I would not mind too much if I did not know nothing more, her reasons she had. In spite of the attention I used to see myself obliged to pay and the care I had to have when I was with Maka not to run the risk of losing some thing, I trusted in the right criterium and good doing Maka put in serious affairs. So when I met her up to be witnesss of how things were cleared concerning the affair between Katy and Guille and she told me we had to wait for half an hour before going to the bar where Guille met up his friends, I did not make any objection, letting her do, though I insisted not realizing it and asked which was the reason just trying she would tell me more. I know what I am doing, you do know I am not clumsy, she said, and burst out laughing and later we spoke about other things and how it could not be so we both had a good hash session for half an hour almost forgetting and not having in mind the bar’s affair, taking for granted no annoying consequence would fall on us by the fact we were going to the bar afterwards. When more or less half an hour had gone by Maka told me we had be going to the bar. For a moment I felt accomplice in a outrageous affair I do not know why, but later I said to myelf I never get involved on purpose in others affairs, and on the other hand how well I knew Maka was not a bit a clumsy girl, and I did always handle every situation imposing myself at least a way of acting as wisely as possible, I am not boasting about myself, but it was almost knid of Maka frequently flattering me saying that that was what I did and she made me understand this some times. If someone accuses me of pretencious, it is enough to make clear Maka assured me she felt very well knowing she was friend of mine and she thinks I am very intelligent, and this is not saying just for saying someone to another, at least being her someone like Maka. When we entered into the bar Guille’s friends were making a lot of noise and occupied half of the bar’s total space, which was of medium size. For a moment, stoned as I was, I thought they surely were among them already in jest on Katy’s account. Guille was cheerful indeed and stood up to greet Maka. I did not know if the jest among them surpassed already the purely unendurable for Katy, and looking at Guille I understood that in fact he did not worry too much limits in the jest were surpassed. Of course I knew some consequence would have whatever happened, at least between Katy and Guille. Maka and I took a seat in the midst of the hulla-baloo made by the nine friends crowding there. I know it was on purpose: Jokes cropped out among them like something normal among them, not like friends usually do among them as a natural thing, but hinting humourously to how lucky Guille was with Katy. Having myself an idea about what would happen next I let time go by while talking with somebody occasionally. Maka had seated beside Guille and from the semblance of both I perceived as if Maka was being clear and incisive to him, and he like understanding but kind of placing himself above. There was a thunderous noise in the table, harping on, and only two girls especially gazing at us occupied a table beside one of ours. Almost constantly they laughed about the same and making a show of the complicity it supposed not to have impediments to make jocular comments in the presence of the fortunate, to the point of openly speaking about dowries. I realized Maka was angry and Guille admitted as normal Maka herself critisized him for his attitude before such a joke. I knew already the matter was going to be the encounter’s substance, at least I was prevented it was going to be so, but I did not understand how the gaiety could reach this extreme. Leave it like this, Maka, Guille said openly allowing all the jokes as if there was no remedy or it had to be so anyway, until I heard Maka saying to Guille Katy would not go to permit that kind of jokes. Guille gestured again kind of having fun and trying Maka should not give too much importance to it. Good, Maka said speaking louder, being all of us already pending about what they were talking, Katy is coming here, because she is not going to wait for her parents at the airport, rather her parents are not coming today and she told us she would come to know which point things reached to, and look how things are I have caught you up, for I heard how your friends cheered to you as if you have obtained a trophy and that is a vileness. Making himself kind of not worrying a bit Guille said: Not give me those, Maka, what’s the matter taking it as if nothing happened, and nothing happens, Maka, guys are having a good time and I am not going to suffer from what they words are. Do you know what?asked Maka to him, I judge this very bad, very bad indeed, she said to him looking at him into his eyes, you even having fun listening to what obviously nobody knew unless you did divulge it yourself. But listen to me, Maka, said Guille already not too sure, they are things that happens or may happen, Katy would not have to take offence by this. You said it! exclaimed Maka at once. By this, what is this? she asked. What are you referring to? she asked to him holding her gaze from very close while we joining there waited amazed. Just then Katy entered into the bar and with circumtances’ face she came to us and stood up in front of Maka and Guille. She first said hello to us all and tried to know inmediately some more from Maka’s and Guille’s semblances. She then asked Maka what had been said she did not like. Tha fact is I had not had to mention the business of the marriage for money, Guille’s friends have charged themselves of celebrating it as it was something already done. What would you want me to tell you?, went on Maka saying to Katy while Katy was looking at her almost terified, I do not like things that obscurely or openly had been said, rather I judge them very badly, very badly indeed. We all had remained silent and most of Guille’s friends understood when they saw Katy with the aspect of german girl she has. Come on, Maka, do not say that... Guille ventured to say blushing, in an outrageous tight from which he did not have an easy exit.

Some of Guille’s friends complained when they heard the words marry for money, for a moment some of them insisted protesting and even reasoning about it, as if it was something they knew already, not taking notice they were betraying themselves about their attitude to this respect until now, and leaving Guille in evidence. Well, Katy said offensively and with deep german accent, I do want to make this very clear, I am not a silly girl to whom somebody can laugh at and I am not going to consent to be celebrated on my back a happening which consists in treason. There was an absolute silence, the brisk with which Katy spoke instilled a sudden respect to her from all us and a rather un unfeigned panic to Guille. What do you say to me now, Guille?, asked Katy. Guille tried to recover although eveerybody might see he could not yet and he babbled as if the situation had remedy. But... , Katy, it is something you have to take as a joke. Maka exaggerates much the intention of guys when they spoke... But of which intention are you speaking about but no one they should have?, asked Katy heatedly but with good logic. The two girls sitting beside an angle of our table did not lose detail of what we were saying, most of Guille’s friends kept silence, one of them exonerated Guille and he even said they had compromised him with their jokes, though two or three laughed heartedly on seeing the situation in which the boy friend was. Maka glanced at Guille fixedly and now and then at Katy and was waiting something to happen, when I realize what it was she was waiting. Before Maka and his friend came in, one of the two girls said then, this one precisely, the one who said the boy friend was innocent, repeated several times very sure he was talking about the boy friend having five millions and he remained pensive as if it was true instead of denying it. When this happened and I knew like everybody else how things were I burst out laughing strenouosly not being able of restraining and this was contagious to most, yet the ones who kept some prudence about the case. Seeing me laughing Guille got upset and began to contend and try to recover as if what had happened had not had happened.

Maka laughed by contagion too and Guille said: There is no reason to reach this extreme, nobody would believe I had made bloody comments. With this Guille made it worse yet, even his friends laughed at it. Suddenly some of them were in a hurry, Guille above all, he kind of surrendered though he still wanted to sham he was innocent and yet even do good. I am going to wait in the street, I see no reason to be taken in an ambush not deserving it, he said. Katy went after him and griped him by the door to put him in his place. You are a fool, she said to him, how is it possible the five millions amount coincides with the total I told you was my heritage with the one you boastingly made your friends understand you supposedly was going to receive as a dowry?, Guille and Katy were at the bar’s door, Guille completely red in the face. Even so he got to say and we heard him say Leave it like this, Katy, is purely coincidental. Maka and I had come out to the door as well and Maka laughed by contagion seeing me laughing too, I could not restrain, until Guille could stand it no more and tried to go against me in vengeance, as if he could, telling all presents my delirium about an assumed wedding with the king’s daughters and proclaiming nobody would believe it. What a role the boy friend is doing, I said to myself not being able to stop laughing, and not thinking much it ccourred to me at that moment saying everything that would pass through my mind whatever it was, because the truth is I knew I understood what Guille had said about me may not need an explanation, but I felt like saying something shocking, and more especially due to the occasion. I do not think he is coming now, not standing anybody waiting for him, I said enigmatically when the two girls were coming out from the bar. Is someone else coming?, asked Guille when he saw the two girls. Maka introduced them to me. They were very sympathetic but were indignant too. I could not stop laughing seeing awkward Guille’s blushing and ostentiously already I emptied myself bursting out laughing. What the hell you are laughing at?, Guille asked me. Most of us were already by the door. Even some of Guille’s friends laughed too on seeing how Guille was being clumsy. Guille looked at me with hatred and I saw venom in his pupils. Perhaps you are waiting for him, I said to him. You do not know what you are talking about, Guille said. Then if he comes, tell him we were not waiting for him and went away knowing he was coming, I said weeping, and finished by saying: We would die of shame if on top of this the king himself doing silly things brings a dowry personally, that you would not believe it, but you would not complain for sure if instead for me he brings it to you and yes indeed we would die of shame, but later we would recover and there would be more than words for sure. Well, Guille said then, have you chosen me as the target of your verbal diarrhoea? I could not respond to him right away because I was drowning. It was katy who said to Guille after exchanging some indignation glances between Maka and her friends I may be laughing at whatever I wanted too, and for him to know, I was laughing at him for sure, and also if somebody neither could laugh nor be able to would be him, for to be precise at her nobody laughed and less at her cunt. Little by little the group seemed to dissolve, there were some who were saying goodbye, the truth is there was laughter watching how ridiculous was being Guille and not even his friends feigned how well the subject suited them to speak about him between strenuous laughter and there were also some of them who mentioned the five millions in jest, yet there was somebody who said twice one after the other that of Yes, the whole heritage from his parents in law for him, everything his, and hearing this Guille made a face to Katy again kind of But what are you saying to me before she said anything. Most of us had gone ourselves far from Guille, who remained alone by the bar’s door, yet saying But if we were celebrating, why are you all going away? I was still wanting to go on laughing and say something more before going along with Maka, Katy, the two girls and two of Guille's friends too, and I laughed and said to Guille restraining a little and as if a good counsel was: Do not wait much, and if you are going to wait do not put that face to him, for after all what you must do is leaving him like a fool, say you will not marry her daughters and also that mothers-in-law cheat sons-in-law harder, being yours like she is and being you like you are. Well, well, let me in peace, you tiresome, that you do not know what you are talking about, said Guille to me. I could not stand no more my own laughter and saw him deeply wounded in his pride, but not willing to make the agony longer, and I turned back towards the group remaining still and when we were going along Maka griped my arm and Katy made me a gesture. Katy... mumbled Guille with not a glimpse of entreaty, like not understanding such a mess. And he stood alone saying: If we were celebrating, I can not understand...
