     original

Rain had moved in just what we wanted ,
days without it then suddenly rain it was.

Fishing was good after it rain. The stream
was not far,we live only a few feet away
from it .

I lived in the wilderness I had for thirty all
some years of my life lived in the city had
depended upon others for a living,on then
society as a whole even technology too.

It was that technologty that tried to help my
wife who at close range was shot in a gun
fight between police and bank robbers the
bullet almost pierced her heart and in doing
she ended up in life support so in one way
technology saved her but in another the gun
that fired the bullet was made by technology.

She fought a good fight but in the end she
just gave up, I couldn't cope with that so in
the way I was feeling I left after the funeral.

I headed out to the wild.I was six foot seven
a beard had grown and love to eat some say
I look like a bear, my name was Ben, Big Ben.

You might call me Ben ,a;ll my friends do .
