Uhura was not the only one that didn't like
her present situation or Chekov ,upon arri-
ving at their intended call, Jim Kirk and one
Scott saw that a group of citizens were yel-
ling in the direction of a housing apartment
where in the window a long cobra like snake
was just sitting there,now the people on this
planet were much like us,fears and weakness
and strong points and so on, most hated the
snakes too. 

You see as I said this planet was much like in
fact our own was .
 

' Can we capture it without hurting it,I don't in
fact it means anyone any harm,' said Scott as
he pointed to the high afternoon sun,' Perhaps
it's trying to find a shady spot you know .'
 

' As Captain I order you to try and capture the
snake,' said Kirk standing before his motorcycle
as did Scott as they tried to figure out what too
do now .
 

' Sorry Captain,' smiled Scott as he studied the
snake as it was now on the side of the building,
We're police officers now and I'm Captain Scott,
lieutenant Kirk, now go get that snake ,there's a
brave lad, remember the snake is native to the
planet,no harm too it.'
 

Kirk shook his head,the things he must do and
now this,' I'll never forget this Scott,' he said as
he approached the crowd as they cleared their
way for him .' No harm will come to the snake.'
 

Kirk turned to Scott,' What if any harm comes
to me Scott,' he said trying to figure out how to
grab the snake and what too put him in .
 

' Damn it Jim,'he laughed,' I'm a starship Capt-
ain not a snake charmer .' Scott wanted to help
but as big as the cobra like snake was he figure
the Captain could do it.
 

' There's always options Captain,' said Scott,' In
fact you told me that yourself when I was playing
chess with Spock and he had me cornered ,'
 

' I did didn't I.'
