Sulu was in command when Kirk or Spock were not present
currently one was on the planet below and the other off duty
even Vulcans need rest from time to time,but if anyone were
too ask him, Spock was not resting but reading about this pl-
anet the Captain had beamed down too. 
 

Why did they beamed to a different era then the present one?
 

Spock was suppose to meet with Uhura but that could wait he
needed the Captain, Sulu was a fine commander and all but if
Enterprise were to see any action or battle he would not be in
fact ready, and as an old Earth saying went,even Vulcans need
downtime or rest and recreation .The planet was indeed strange.
 

Without rest even Vulcans could end up being a bitch .Spock saw
an interesting page as he read it,the planet literally existed in a time
loop he thought that would bring chaos would it not, then reading on
about time loop a picture appeared, a picture of a man Spock tried
to forget about, and he was holding a tribble 
 

' Cyrano Jones,' Spock said moaning at the sound of his name.
 

Cyrano once had visited Vulcan trying to sell some of his trades on
Spock's planet,because he had once visited him and his mother at
home when Sarek wasn't there,his father,and using everything that
he could Cyrano tried to have Spock's mother purchased something.
 

Spock left but he might have been everything bad but Cyrano did in
fact teach Spock was never give up always try because you don't try
you never know what failure is .
 

Then he called the Vulcan police and Cyrano was never seen again .
 

Kirk had become a well season veteran being Captain anything that
would appear on the planet he be able to cope with it. 
 

Spock turned he heard the chimes to the door.' Rest indeed.' he said
not wanted to get up but the chimes would continue if he didn't answer
the door ,he took a deep breath,turning off the computer and got to his
