I used to watch a tv show called Gilligan's Island you can tell its one of my favorites
here on Authors Den because its easy to write
about,but over the last several months I been
watching it and realized something, during the
original run the castaways went on a three hour boat tour because it was Christmas,during their
trip their ship,the S.S. Minnow were caught in a
storm. After they were swept away in the storm
out to seemingly nowhere they landed on an island.
Now my one tiny problem with them was after the original three season run the castaways never made it off the island though many attempts were
made too. O.k. heres my problem now fifteen years later the castaways were rescued thanks to a brilliant scheme by the Professor and another storm,in their returning to civilization it wasn't what it was cracked up to be , everything was faster, violent even in the movies too. Gilligan pointed out how everything changed on the island they were always there for each other
but now civilization was dog eat dog everybody look out only for themselves. Now during a new three hour tour they decided to take to celebrate their being rescued the boat again got stranded on a desert island ,but this time after they were saved,instead of leaving the island one of the original castaways buys it . Now hows that for irony after all that time trying to get off it,which they do,returning to civilization finding they don't like it,then fifteen years later making the island a resort hideaway for rich and famous . Very confused after seeing the seven castaways try for over fifteen years to get off the island suddenly they buy it . Go figure . Now they're living and working on the island for the rest of their lives .end
