June ran hard and fast even faster then any boy she saw her age run, she was trying out for the teen special team for the next Games they would held in the Olympics, she was thirteen and could run the mile without taking a breath .But she needed to qualify one more race before she could be let in. June was driven by desire and was then taught by her father and also her gym teacher at school never give up never stop trying,because even if you try and don't make it at least you tried,there were those that dream of running in the Olympics.But to June this was a dedication race to herself, two weeks ago they found she had cancer no cure was known to stop it,only four people knew this,her mom and dad,her gym teacher and her brother Timmy. The day came and it was time for the mile run for June . Her last chance .
They all lined up and were ready to go naturally Timmy was cheering the loudest for June as they ran. But a silence fell over everyone as suddenly June stopped just before the finished line,all eyes were on her as suddenly she fell, no screaming no pain ,nothing she fell,out like a shot Timmy ran to his sister's side, another girl was touching her making sure she was alright but her skin felt suddenly cold .Timmy started crying
he looked up and saw his mother running toward them. Timmy looked at her and without saying a word they got June to her feet and together they helped her across the finish line for a moment there was silence but then the entire stadium started cheering and clapping,' She made it after all,' Timmy told his mother,' never give up then always keep trying,we give up trying we fail then because we never tried,' his mother smile then slightly ,' Yes Timmy,she made it and now she can rest in peace .' Both mourn the loss of June but both had lived on Timmy became a doctor to find a cure for cancer.' To my sister I love you always.'
