Billy stood trying to get the mule to come to him,but he being like mules often are he just stood there eating the grass around him,ignoring him,Billy the Kid was just a real kid just then.He was just learning too be a bad guy and
needed a mule or horse to get around on but since he couldn't find the latter Billy had to deal with a jackass,he had his guns he wore he left home at an early age.so everything he did he did
without help,but now he wish he had,this was the most stubborn mule he ever saw.'I'm going to get on you sooner or later mule,quit being stubborn I have a destiny to fulfill,please.So picking the last pine needle from his rare Billy quietly moved up to the mule,the mule raised his ears he heard Billy coming,he like the kid at least Billy never use force to climb on him .This then time the mule decided to let Billy have a little confidence he finally sat on the mule then to but backwards,he then turn around grabbing the reigns or ropes as he told the mule,'Getty Up,jackass.'
The mule couldn't stand two things from any rider
being called a jackass and hearing Getty Up,he was not a horse he was a mule,he threw Billy off his back as he went flying backwards Billy moaned first seeing the pigpen he was headed to and then looking back at the mule as it was laughing at him,landing in a pigpen Billy screamed wiping mud off of him,' I'm not giving up,mule,'he said trying to get to get to his feet he fell backwards then finally grabbing the fence and a fat pig he got to his feet,' I'm Billy the Kid,please I got a future to make a promise too.'
Finally the mule gave in and let Billy ride him,
he rode him until the day the mule died and Billy the Kid became the myth,the legend of the old west that he was meant to be,even Billy learn never give up,no matter what because if you give up that means you never even tried .end
