Do you think my dog Aspen would learned anything from his experience with the two skunks,I even tied him to a tree,but to my surprise Aspen didn't like squirrels either,one day as I was getting ready to leave I told my family tie Aspen to the tree I'll just be a hour shopping,my son Scott was there for a weekened visit so he the task for me,unfortunately for me that was a bad idea, as Scott tied him at the tree, Scott was about to turn and leave when Aspen saw his first squirrel,instead of leaving the animal alone Aspen followed the squirrel through a hole just big enough for that dumb beagle to get stuck in,I was on my way home when I heard a commotion,someone yelling for help,I pulled my car up to the house grab the grocery bags and headed where the yelling was coming from,I ran through the house the outside to the backyard,forgetting I had the grocery bags I drop them,hearing barking I looked up,Aspen was on a branch looking down at me,weeping.' How did you get up there.' Then I saw Scott he chased Aspen trying to get him to come to the house but got stuck inside the hole I stepped closer to the tree one end was trap n a hole of the tree his face was looking out of another,'Help me mom,I feel stupid.'I nodded in agreement.I went and got a crowbar and shovel and got Scott out making sure he was o.k.,we both look up,'C'mon Aspen come down boy,I won't chase you any more,your a dog not a cat.'Aspen just bark,as if he was laughing at us.' I'll go call the fire department,they got ladders and a net,' I told my son stay here but please leave Aspen where he is.'
