Kevin Riley had a nightmare which to most was
unusual indeed,because when you were serving on a starship like Enterprise Starfleet trains you to be strong willed not afraid of anything and able to be able to stand your ground in a fight.These
nightmares like headaches that were in the past history but in any case he had one they had just
returned from their First Contact mission from the alien they beam down to lovely planet thought
the Irishman as he closed his eyes again he was in fact off duty and his first planet landing party was rather exhausting to one Kevin Riley.To Kevin if this wasn't a nightmare he had it would had been funny,upon returning to the Enterprise members of the landing party started showing signs of changes in their personality and how they reacted to others for example being the logical Vulcan he was Kevin noticed first how he started acting against the Captain's orders for
example one instant the Captain ask for a sensor scan but Spock told the Captain go climb a tree and left the bridge in other ways he started being
nastier to other crew members and even started to smoking cigars and drinking . Then Leonard McCoy would act like when patients wanted to see him the Chief Medical Officer told them pay him first and at one point he relieved all his nurses and doctors most notably Nurse Chapel and Dr.M'Benga.
He yelled at them in front of others while Kevin
himself just seem to be tired all the time,not wanting to do anything just stay in his quarters.
' Something must had happen during First Contact,'
said Captain James Kirk as he sat before the monitor on his desk,since normally he had any problems he would see McCoy or Spock,but there was one person he could talk to especially then concerning Spock,his father Sarek.' That is most
unusual Captain,'agreed Sarek,nodding,'The landing party was the only people affected.' Kirk nodded this time ,' Yes sir.' Sarek continued,' You see Captain if one thing we Vulcans do not like is odd behavior or behaving out of our norm a
Vulcan is mostly logical never acting strangely as you put it.' Kirk had to smile,' But sure your son is only half Vulcan.' Sarek didn't have to be reminded of that his planet did that for himself.
Sarek ,' There are scientists here I'll give them
what you told me and maybe together will get my son and the others return to normal.In the meantime Captain,stay safe and take care of Spock if you can perhaps one day you two can come back to Vulcan again,his mother misses him,and quiet frankly so do I,live long and prosper Captain.'

he hit the wall intercom,' Bridge since my off duty shift is coming soon I'm going to get some rest call me if you need me,Lieutenant Connor you have the bridge.' ' Aye,sir.' said Connor who was recently added to the crew roster of the starship
he had plenty of bridge experience as well as planetary ones as well.Kirk felt tired maybe when
this was over he would request shore leave for the Enterprise crew,maybe that's all they needed,
