original, our first steps into outer space will not be by spaceships or jet design but by a simple tool called an elevator we use everyday in our lives
' They weren't kidding ,'commented Daren as he step out of the car,' It reaches out up into the skies ,wow. The first space elevator ,I guess the elevators have G forces to hold us down while we enter space,' said Daren to Col.Reed Shepard as they stood admiring the first space elevator as space engineers quickly finished working on it in fact they were hurrying along because the one flaw in the space elevator was the weather. ' It can hold up to ten passengers with two elevators alongside each other one for passengers and the other supplies like food or clothing for the space station that's the first stage of the elevator,'explained the Colonel as then the engineers finished' Its done Colonel,' said an engineer, this time just allow four passengers please ,the supplies are in the other elevator when you enter the space elevator please hit the red button and say Up in the intercom next to the door.' And so after making a speech about the space elevator the Colonel, his aide Daren Paul, and two astronauts that were chosen by computer to go,John House and Anna Jones stepped into the elevator. after the door closed the Colonel did what the engineer said and like an instant the space elevators moved then upward together,' ' They're speed is five times faster then a normal elevator both are locked down and secured,'said Daren as they watch on an elevator wall on a monitor that show the progress of the elevators, they had just lifted off the ground and as shown by the monitor they reached the sky they saw white clouds around them as they went higher. ' Like touching Heaven,'smiled Anna, but then the impossible happened, almost reaching inner space the elevators stopped in motion, they stopped just between leaving Earth's atmosphere and entering space,' That's not suppose to happen,' said Daren,' Everything was check and double check, the blue printers, designers who design the space elevators, nothing was suppose go wrong. The Colonel looked then at the other three passengers,' Well,my friend something did go wrong.'to be continued.
