It was quiet almost all through the hospital some creatures were stirring but they were then too not mice,hospital workers went from and to from patients who need more then care then the nurses or doctors could do,some were on life support some were dying a woman name Jenny Smith was dying' I hope Santa gets my letter.'she told a nurse handing her a letter Jenny wrote to good old Saint Nick,as she laid there thanking the nure she coughed ,she was on IV right nowher life signs continue to be monitor the last of her hair fell out last night,she closed then her eyes as she prayed waiting to then hear from Santa.At the North Pole Santa was reading letters from everyone as an Elf bought him a cup of tea and one letter in particular ,then thisv was one Jenny wrote.Then elf bsaw the concern look on his face,he asked was he alright Santa just put the letter in his suit kissing then to his wife Mrs Clause goodbye,quietly he said,' I'll do this letter myself.'He gathered his reindeer and got his sleigh together this was the night after Christmas and there would only be himself and his sleigh to go to New York City that's where Jenny was.He landed the sleigh on the roof then of the hospital,quietly knowing there were sick here he found the chimney and climb down this time he had no toy bag to carry so he hurried along,moving through the hospital corridors was easy too he found Jenny's room without disturbing anyone else around,he stood by her bed holding her letter quietly she opened her eyes,they were getting harder to keep open he saw,he knew what she wanted wanted but of all wishes he could give that was one he could not.' Hell Santa. You got my letter.' The five year old coughed,'Santa felt sad he hated hospitals during Christmas to be sure how can you go ho ho ho when sickness was everywhere even to Santa he had his limit everyone did even he.' I read your letter Jenny and I tell you my sweet girl there is a problem even Santa cant cure,dying or death ,I'm also sorry .'he drop the letter on her tray .' Why you can do anything,'she said coughing.He smiled and tears flowed down his face.' I'm sorry Jenny.' She just smiled and coughed then too more.'I do not want that wish for me to stop me from dying,Santa,before I go I want you too go to my mom and dad and tell them about me,my mom isn't getting any younger either,but she made sure I got to this hospital and taking care.of .' Suddenly Santa saw the saddest thing in hs life,a little frail five year old closing then her eyes for the last time.Santa cried.'I promise.'He returned to his sleigh taking the letter then he found their house and saw her parents sitting alone before a Christmas tree,he quietly handed them the letter from Jenny and a picture she took of herself at the hospital,' Before I leave ,'he said,'Jenny gave me her wish to you,I already know what it is so have a Merry Christmas one and all.' end
