As far as the virus itself was concern it indeed was intelligent that was why it chose the domes as food the asteroid minerals and Moon rock were it's food and need too survive,it had no other of it's kind to rely on because they existed in yet another dimension that was why no one knew they existed until now,but the main concern for that of the virus was voice it could then not talk it understood others and how they talked but no way to communicate back too anyone.And that was why the people always had too with the virus .It then continued to feed from the domes and the many engineers and scientists try to find ways to stop it or kill it,but the virus continued it had plenty of food now.to be continued.
