Robert Pirsig died. He is Minnesota's best selling author. His Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance received 121 rejections from the publishers before its acceptance. this work received as many rejections as F. Scott Fitzgerald's This Side of Paradise. Robert Pirsig lived on my morning paper route at 25th and Aldrich when he wrote this work and I was a graduate student in the history department at the University of Minnesota. His book is a very weighty philosophical rhetorical work. His son Christopher attended Jefferson Junior High School in Minneapolis and was murdered on the way to a DoJo in Haight Asbury by an Afro-American youth. I also attended Jefferson Junior High School for typing classes in summer school. compare Robert Pirsig to Thomas Jefferson. Robert Pirsig's father taught at the university of Minnesota Law School
Minnesota does not have a mandatory helmet law for motocycles driver. Surgeon fees for motorcycle accidents can easily equal 250,000 which the public typically pays. the Judges and lawyers in Minnesota have a motorcyclist club. .
