A Self published Author Marketing a book: Networking at the BLACK Librarian conference in Atlanta, Georgia
Introduction
For the last several years I have been attempting to attend the Black Caucus llibrarian conference. I wanted to meet as many black librarians from around the country that I could,,in order to introduce and promote my historic book the "The President Men: Black United States Marshals in America".to this distinguish group .
I was impressed to see that the conference was being held in the upscale part of Atlanta in the Hyatt Hotel. As a struggling self publishing author trying to save money in this Atlanta (Buckhead) market I booked a hotel in this upscale neighborhood thinking that the hotel would match the area. Too my surprise I had to asked my travel agency to cancel my reservations. I was stuck with no place to stay. Thanks to my phone companion "Siri" I was able to find lodging. I had a wonderful time networking at the conference. One big positive gaspects was my ability to later develop an authors page with Amazon to better market my book, newworking is great. https://www.amazon.com/author/www.blackmarshalpublishing.com.
